Suffering from mild to moderate medical conditions? Your GP should be the first medical professional you contact when you’re feeling unwell. Instead of going to the A&E immediately, see a GP at home with Speedoc first!
If your condition still requires an A&E visit, your Speedoc doctor will provide you with a referral under the GPFirst scheme so that you can receive a $50 subsidy and join the priority queue.
Speedoc is part of the GPFirst scheme with Singhealth. Available to all Singaporean residents, including PRs and foreigners, the GPFirst programme aims to encourage patients to visit their General Practitioners if they have non-emergency conditions instead of going straight to the hospital.
If you require serious medical attention, Speedoc’s experienced physicians will write you a referral for emergency care at Changi General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital.
In conjunction with the government’s efforts to reduce overcrowding in hospitals, Speedoc is working alongside government hospitals to bring benefits to both hospitals and prospective patients. The programme reduces the overload of patients in hospitals and allows the reallocation of resources to those in need of immediate care while increasing affordability and efficiency of care for those in critical conditions.
GPFirst scheme provides multifold benefits - you will be able to save time and money while receiving appropriate quality care by experienced Speedoc professionals, which provides hospital care in the comfort of your home.
If you have only mild or moderate symptoms, receiving treatment from Speedoc will not only cost less than going to the A&E, much time can be saved from travelling to and fro and waiting at hospitals.
If Speedoc’s experienced physicians think that you need to go to the A&E at CGH or SKH, you will also receive a $50 subsidy on the prevailing fee. You will also be prioritised over other non-emergency cases.
