In Port Marine Circular No. 27 of 2020 issued by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) announced that telemedicine consultations are allowed for use to facilitate crew change and crew sign-offs.

Fit-to-travel certification

As a 24/7 medical service provider, Speedoc can conduct fit-to-travel assessments and issue certificates at any time of the day. This can be done either through telemedicine (done via WhatsApp) or at anchorage. Our fit-to-travel certificates are recognised by the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

The completed fit-to-travel certificates will be sent to you via email in PDF format within 1 hour after the end of the teleconsultation.

If thermometers and/or oximeters are not available onboard, they are available for purchase from Speedoc as well. Alternatively, you could also opt for anchorage, where our doctors will bring along the necessary equipment when they board the ship.
