Protecting Little Lives With Vaccinations

Immunisation is one of the most effective ways to protect the health of an individual and the community from serious yet preventable diseases.

In Singapore, every child is vaccinated according to the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (NCIS) recommended by the Ministry of Health (MOH). There are a few immunisations within the programme that are mandated by Law, namely Measles and Diphtheria. While the other vaccines are not compulsory, it is important to keep in mind that they provide our little ones with the necessary immunity to fight against infections later in life. The basis of any vaccination is to make us immune to diseases before it has a chance to make us sick. Hence, vaccinating your child at an early age helps to build up their natural defences during their developmental years.

Here at Speedoc, our baby vaccination service follows the MOH-recommended golden standard for your child’s first 18 months of life as shown in the table below:

Benefits of getting your baby vaccinated with Speedoc

Holistic care

Speedoc offers more than just vaccinations for your child. Our qualified doctors are also available round the clock for house calls to treat any urgent medical conditions for your little one as well as the entire family.

Convenient

Making your way to a clinic or hospital may pose a slight challenge especially with a kid in tow. Juggling a stroller, diaper bag and other essentials simply add to the inconvenience too. With Speedoc, you don’t have to worry about the arduous journey to and fro a medical institution with your hands full. Our home-based baby vaccination service allows you to stay home with your child while the doctor comes to you at your preferred time and location.

Safe

In the field of healthcare, our young ones are part of the vulnerable population who are at higher risk of contracting diseases and developing more severe complications from an infection. Getting your child vaccinated in the safety of your home reduces their exposure to contagious diseases.

Stress-free

The Speedoc team of medical professionals aim to provide a seamless start-to-end process for you and your baby. All appointments scheduling and reminders will be done in a timely manner to ensure that your little one doesn’t miss a vaccination.
